Kora interior doors offer a wide range of solutions to different requests: hospitals, offices, laboratories, schools, commercial and industrial projects. This versatile door system offers a combination of several materials, frame shapes, opening systems and aesthetical finishes. The freedom in combination and design make Kora interior doors the most elegant, modern and convenient solution for projects.

Kora is more than a door for public buildings. It’s a new modulate system which provides:

Two different frame types (corner and embracing)
Several door opening options (hinged, swing or sliding)

Door panel options

KORA Basic

Leaf composed of two galvanised steel sheets 6/10mm thickness, pre-painted in colour RAL 7035 (brushed). Other RAL colours available on request.
The steel sheets are covered on the edge by a silver finished galvanised aluminium profile.
Honeycomb paper insulation infill, hot glued to the metal sheets giving a single sturdy block.
Acoustic insulation up to 28dB

KORA Lam

Leaf composed of 2 high density MDF panels (3.2mm thickness) with plastic laminate external layers.
Honeycomb paper insulation infill, glued to the panels.
Wood main structure on the perimeter.
Edges covered by hot-glued PVC slat in silver finish.
Acoustic insulation up to 31dB

KORA Fill

Leaf composed of 2 galvanised steel sheets 6/10mm thickness, pre-painted in colour RAL 7035 (brushed) and edged along the perimeter by a 30mm deep aluminium profile, silver finished.
Boxed sheets, covered on the edge by a silver finished galvanised aluminium profile.
Honeycomb paper insulation infill, hot glued to the metal sheets giving a single sturdy block.
Thanks to its high shock resistance, the structure proves to be suitable for hospital environments. High clearing agents resistance.

KORA Glass

Main structure composed of tubular profile in galvanised steel with rounded corners on the perimeter (external sizes 40mm x 157mm).
Glazing beads not visible.
Safety glass type 3/3 or 4/4 (0.38mm)
Available with panic devices and “free/engaged” locks.
Available both single leaf and double leaves (with central “T shaped” joint).
Available with swing opening and external/internal wall sliding versions.
Possibility to match a glazed leaf with a blind leaf (e.g. blind active leaf and glazed secondary leaf). Only full glazed lead, no horizontal central beam. Main structure in standard silver finish or painted in RAL colour.

Door frame options

Corner frame

Anodized aluminium frame, silver finish, cut by 45°.
Suitable for fixing by anchor bolts or self-tapping screws.

Embracing frame

Anodized aluminium frame, silver finish, rounded corners, cut by 45°. Fixing by anchor bolts or self-tapping screws.
Anodized aluminium covering profile, silver finish, rounded corners, cut by 45°. Available for wall thicknesses from 100 up to 159mm.
Prolonged shaft (on request). It enlarges the covering frame by 60mm more.

Opening options

Hinged opening

Anodized aluminium hinges, silver finish, with self-lubricating nylon bushing and steel pivot. Hinges can be adjusted on two direction. Different leaf height from floor on request.

Swing opening

Steel hinges, type Bommer, black painted with ‘swing’ function. Leaf without handle, lock and cylinder. When the door is not moving, the leaf is perfectly aligned with the wall. Different lead height from floor on request.

Sliding outside wall

Extruded aluminium top horizontal single rail allowing the sliding of the runner. Railed covered by rounded section removable housing. Sturdy supporting runner with 4 wheels. Maximum capacity 80kg each runner. Covering frame on the door side in profiled aluminium, equipped with protecting brushes and fixings for covering profile.

Vertical abutment frame with protecting brushes in case of single leaf door. Hook lock with turning handle, also available in ‘free/busy’ version and counterlock in case of double leaf doors. Recessed handle on both sides. Not available with raised leaf.

Sliding inside wall

Galvanised steel hidden counter frame. Runner slides along an extruded aluminium block rail composed of one or two lines, with average thickness 2mm. Sturdy supporting runner with 4 wheels. Maximum capacity 80kg each runner. Anodized aluminium covering profile with rounded angles fitted to reach wall thicknesses of 100mm to 145mm.

Covering profiles are fixed with no visible screws. Hook lock with turning handle, also available in ‘free/busy’ version and counter lock in case of double leaf doors. Recessed handle on both sides. Not available with raised leaf.
