New Research and Development Manager Joins the Robust Team
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jason Robinson – our new Research and Development Manager.
Jason brings with him a wealth of experience – having worked in the steel door industry for more than 25-years. He has worked for a number of private sector companies and worked for his last employer for 15 years.
His appointment is another big commitment to our company’s long-term plan, to develop our knowledge, product offering as well as our continuous development.
Our new R & D Manager lives in Stockport and will focus on researching and developing new products, testing products and looking at new opportunities as well as gaps in the market.
Having worked for Robust for three weeks, Jason says he is already impressed by what he has seen.
He said: “It’s a great company to work for and the testing on the doors here is second to none. Everything is rigorously tested and certified, before we sell it, which provides peace of mind for our customers. Not all manufacturers or door companies have the same level of comprehensive testing that Robust has which can ultimately leave vulnerabilities.
Jason added: “I’m really looking forward to working with the team here and using my experience to continue the fantastic work already being done – especially as momentum gathers towards our multi-million factory move.”
His recruitment and appointment along with our other experienced, skilled and talented staff helps make Robust the leading door solution manufacturer.
We pride ourselves on ensuring that our products are fully certified. Our research and development team, headed up by Jason regularly send our doors for testing with independent bodies to gain certification and ensure that they conform to current legislation.
Married with one daughter, and one eight-year-old granddaughter, Jason and his family are massive Stockport County fans. They are all season ticket holders and are hoping that the Hatters, who are currently top of League Two, continue with their current form to get promoted as champions at the end of the season – especially as they just missed out in the play offs last year!
